I would like a lodge a complaint against your website "My Roof".
I had put in an offer to purchase a property in Bellville, 4 weeks ago. "My Roof" contacted me to confirm that my offer was indeed accepted. They confirmed this via a telephone call as well as an email confirmation." My Roof" then requested me to pay my deposit of R3000.00 of which I did.
Just two days later the attorneys from "My Roof" contacted me to advise me that they require my bank details to reimburse my deposit I have made. This due to the fact that they received confirmation from " My Roof" that another offer was accepted a month ago and the registration of the property is ready from the buyer who made an offer before me.
I supplied my bank details. Up till today, my deposit is still not payed back to me and despite regular follow up with them, no one is coming back to me.
I find this service totally unacceptable to say the least. In my view I can almost say I suspect some sort of corrupt activity with these transactions. I can also say that despite the fact that the attorneys told me the documents is ready for registration for the buyer, there is still a requirement from " My Roof" for bidders to make new o
