I accepted a quote from LCP Roofing for a tiled roof on an extension to my house on 14 Nov 2013 & paid a 50% deposit on the same day. Henri at LCP committed to complete the roof by 29 Nov 2013. The trusses were delivered on 25 Nov 2013. This was the only due date they adhered to as the final 50% of the payment was due on delivery of the trusses.
The carpenters (sub-contractors) only came out a week later to fit the trusses after repeated follow-up. Thereafter my roof was left open & no further work was done for 2 weeks posing both a security risk and causing the trusses to warp due to heavy rains. Calls to finish the roof went unanswered. Only after escalating to management on 12 Dec were the roof tilers (sub-contractors) called out on Sat, 14 Dec. The roof was only finished on Tues, 17 Dec but not without the sub-contractors breaking my patio table, damaging the ceiling, a roof leak in my bedroom & disconnecting my DSTV dish. The ceiling and roof leak was subsequently fixed by LCP but all other damages were for my own account.
Based on the unprofessional client service, arrogance & poor manner in which issues were dealt with, I would definitely not recommend LCP to anyone.
