On the 9th April 2013 went on day business trip to pick a machine in Oudtshoorn from Cape Town and filled my petrol tank with R637.35 at ENGEN Martin Bekker Motors at 16h51only to drive about 50 meters and car went to standstill., got road assisatance and was towed into George after 9 at night to CHERY SEAMAN'S MOTORS, got call next morning to be told that the fuel in my car was contaminated and cause damage to my car, I then phoned Mr Botha who then said he would look into the matter and contact ENGEN. After numerous calls to Mr Botha I established that he never contacted Engen and was not quite interested and about contacting Engen which my husband phoned and lodged a complaint, phoned and asked him to converse with the Chery Motors and see the petrol that they had to pump out of my car 49litres. I have in the intrime lodged the complaint with ENGEN and fax all the invoices and proof and was only told that they investgating and that the petrol sample could have been tampered with and how do I proof that it was the fuel, when there was enough opportunity to actually go check fuel out and i have a written report from Chery Motors in George, 1 day trip became 4 days.
