Went to KFC Meer-en-See, Richards Bay, last night (Friday 26 April) with my family. Saying that I left a bit disappointed is a bit of an understatement.
Half-way through my 2nd sweet and sour twister (which is usually delicious) I came across a nice surprise of the chicken strip being completely raw inside. My husband's twister was the same. This however was nothing compared to what was about to happen next. After having taken a few bites of our freshly made twisters (at least they had the decency to make us new twisters) my husband stood up to take off his jacket and to hand to me. The jacket (which is lightweight may I add) no more than grazed the lamp above us. Before I knew it the red Perspex lampshade hit my forehead. My hand was on my head and once the pain had subsided I took my hand off my forehead only to be greeted by a bloodied hand. Yup, I'm not left with a lovely zig-zag cut on my forehead. Did someone say Harry Potter take 2?!
The worst part is that nobody on duty could give us the manager's number to put in a formal complaint. Surely if the manager was not on duty at the time the polite thing to do would be for someone on duty to take down our contact details so
