I work in a customer orientated industry and I just refuse to accept service levels where the MO seems to be "Whatever"
I placed my first order through the Mr Delivery online site. I entered my credit card details & checked out - at this stage it stated that I would be contacted to confirm delivery address order is processing.
40 minutes later no call. I contacted the branch that serviced my area (Parow - Cape Town) - The lady who assisted me was unhelpful, asked me to constantly repeat myself & said my order would need to be placed over the phone. Fine it happens so I oblige & re-order -- I then get told the order will take 1.5 hours to deliver... I cancelled the order immediately.
My first query is why implement a pointless online system that lacks any sort of integration. No live email updates - nothing. Where did my credit card info go? No matter how busy you are nobody is going to wait 1.5 hours for food. I order online for a reason - otherwise It would take me all of 10 minutes drive to my nearest restaurant 15 minutes waiting time and 10 minutes back - a total of 35 minutes.
I will never recommend your service - fix your site, employ more staff & focus on customers
