My wife wanted to go to Cape Town fish market Silver Oaks for a while now. We went today (2013/04/19 at 14H00). To the waiter Brightness i want to say thank you for the excellent service i really can't complaine about the service, you were great!!! But for the FOOD, that is another story!!! For a starter my wife ordered a garlic bread and the bread was stale my sushi was really not bad. We can look past this. I ordered a surf and turf with the meat medium to rare. I get my plate and the meat looks like a thin piece of tenderize steak that is well done and DRY, i had 5 pieces of tough calamari and chips that looks like they got it from McDonnald's happy meal and all this for 115 rand!!! My wife ordered a burger that i don't even want to talk about. We have heard so much about Cape Town Fish Market but i was never so unhappy to pay for food. CRAPY CRAPY CRAPY FOOD!!! I dont know how you can keep pulling people with food like that!!! and we will never go back!!!
