First of all, when you went to eat at Ocean Basket in the past, they gave you either a slice of a bread they have baked or a roll, now, they wait till you've ordered because you don't get a roll if you are only going to eat sushi. So now you lose out on that.
I always have Salmon California rolls, I noticed a while ago that they stopped putting cucumber so I queried this, apparently, some people don't like the cucumber in their sushi so now no one gets to have cucumber in their sushi, although, you still pay the same...
Recently i started noticing that they no longer put the mayonnaise in the sushi, i queried this on Sunday (14 April 2013) and again i was told that some people do not like the mayonnaise in their sushi so they are not putting it in anymore... Surely, if you do not eat mayonnaise or cucumber in your sushi, you should tell them this when you put in your order isn't it?
Personally, i think it is a way Ocean Basket is trying to cut costs and i think it is unacceptable! Again, they cut down on what you get, but we still pay the same or even more! I use to love going to Ocean Basket, but they wont be seeing me at their restaurants anymore.
