I went to the Nando's at the Lifestyle Centre to buy supper. My Card was swiped and the transaction was confirmed via SMS on my phone. The cashier could not print the order or the credit card slip, as her system malfunctioned. She told me to proceed to the next window only to be told that she could not provide me with my order as she does not have proof that they received payment. I produced my phone with the SMS proof of the transaction. The trainee manager then very politely told me to wait for an hour for this transaction to be reversed. I told him that this is not possible and again showed him the proof on my phone. The contacted Lee, the manager who arrogantly agreed that I had to wait for an hour. She was not present at the store and according to the trainees she was able to check the bank and according to her nonpayment was received. Here I am sitting with proof that it went off my account and Nando's can not even produce a slip. After numerous hard words from both the trainee and myself it as agreed that I could take my food on condition that I leave my number, of which I did. I contacted the call center, since then no response. Thx for clucking up my dinner Nandos.
