Bad Attitude, Inconsistent service

On the 22nd March 2013, I had the misfortune of getting into Piatto at Ushaka Marine World for a drink with my wife. I have been to Piatto at Cedar Square in Fourways and must say I have always had an excellent experience and I was looking forward to a similar experience. My wife ordered a cocktail which she normally orders at the Cedar Square Piatto. When the waitress brought the drink my wife realised its different from the one she normally has at Cedar Square. She asked the waitress who told her if she wants lime in the drink we will have to pay an extra R6.00. We then asked to see the manager who told us he cant do anything because the drink has already been served despite my wife not having even a sip. I then requested to speak to Piatto headquarters and I was given a Durban 031 332 6341 number to call. I spoke to two consultants who supported what the manager was saying. I later discovered this number was the Gateway Piatto number and concluded that both Piattos were owned by one and the same person. As I indicated ive had excellent service at Cedar Square but the attitude at Ushaka Marine World left a bitter taste in my mouth.
