We arrived without a booking at the resturant. Initial reaction was that all tables were reserved. We asked them to check and the person came back saying all the tables were reserved. Unbeknown to them one of the party witnessed the exchange that they did not check. After a bit of insistence another staff member intervened and indicated that not all the tables were reserved. All of a sudden after checking a table was not booked. Is it perhaps co-incidence that a couple who arrived after our party and did not have a reservation but of a different colour were allocated a table "after checking". If this were an isolated incident for our party in this part we would have written it off to untrained staff, but one us left with the distinct impression that a subtle form of exclusion is practiced at the establishment. I am reluctant to label it rascism however the profile of the clientele does raise the question especially since the party who arrived after us were treated very differently.
