Yesterday was supposed to be a very happy day for my son as he celebrated his birthday. When we arrived at spur, our table was not ready. I had called in February too book for a kiddies party. The table was in no way set up or prepared for a kiddies party, The kids did not receive any party hats or activities (when i spoke to the manager the response and the assitance I recieved was putrid to say the least. All the kids got was a kunch box and i rememeber that when i made the booking i was told the kids would receive a party pack The food took nearly an hour to come. Most of us had to send the food back as it was cold, The rice that was served with one of the meals was old/off and the warm veg was alos not up to standard. The kids ice-cream arrived at the tables melted and spilling out of the cups. It was very sad as i have been to parties at spur before and have never seen such poor service. After spending R2000 at the Spur i would think twice before i have another kids party their and wouldnt recommend it to anyone that i know.
