I called through to St Elmo's Woodstock branch on Sunday 10 March and spoke to an assistant by the name of Pamela. She seemed distracted from the beginning and after telling me my name twice, after confirming the order she asked me what my name was a third time.
After placing the initial order I had to call back a second time to make a slight change to my order. I got through to Pamela again who didn't hide the fact that she was annoyed and told me that she hopes they didn't already start with my order and sighed a few times before allowing me to tell her that the change was not major.
Having previously worked in customer service myself I understand that there is alot of pressure which comes with the job. I am not the type of person who usually complains about service either and even while on the phone with Pamela I remained polite (which I respected from her as well but did not get in return). I'm disgusted byt eh service I got today and probably won't be using the Woodstock branch in future.
