My husband and I placed an order for a pizza delivery last night (21/08/2013) after 19:00 from the St. Elmo's Woodstock branch for a Deluxe Chicken and Mushroom pizza.
I bit into a slice thinking that there must be some really coarse rock salt on the topping, but after chewing and grinding my teeth, there were still bits of "salt" left in my mouth. When I spat it out I realised I had been chewing on pieces of glass and upon closer inspection I could see shards of glass on the pizza.
I was left with splinters in my mouth and very disappointed. Our dinner was ruined and our money wasted. I would be weary to purchase anything from St Elmo's again after this experience and would suggest an investigation into how this managed to happen and an apology from the franchise would not go amiss.
