I ordered a meal which includes a drink. I was informed that the drink machine was out of order but I could have a milkshake or Orange juice instead. When I proceeded to the pay point I saw that they had added on extra cost for the milkshake. When querying this I was told that it is extra on the meal as it is a milkshake and not a soda, which is not what I was told when I ordered. I then asked them to just take the drink off the total (as the machine was broken) I was then told that I cant have the meal but the burger and chips would be billed separately making it more expensive. The staff were rude and unhelpful. If the cooldrink machine is broken the meals should be sold with a substitute or the cooldrink portion removed. If this is not he case the person taking the order should explain this rather than offering a substitute. It was not a pleasant experience visiting that drive thru and I will not be going back any time soon.
