Last week Thursday I went to the KFC at Irene Mall to get lunch for myself and 2 colleagues. I wanted to order 2 colonel burger meals with Cokes and one meal with an orange juice. I was told, however that meals only included a soft drink and not a fruit juice. Which is fair enough.
I then said that i would order a colonel burger, fries and separate orange juice as the 3rd meal. I was told to go and collect my order after i made it explicitly clear on 3 occassions that i wanted orange juice. However, when i drove round to collect the order i was handed a litchi juice, which my colleagues can't drink. I told the employee that i had ordered an orange juice to which she responded that they didn't have any orange juice or any other fruit juice in fact all together. I was never once apologised to and when i argued that i had ordered orange juice i was told that the order slip said 'fruit juice' and so it wasn't her fault that i had paid for the wrong thing. So basically i had paid up for a meal for a teeny tiny bottle of liqui-fruit litchi juice that nobody drinks and couldn't have cost KFC more than 70c. Waste of time really.
