My husband and I decided to have dinner at the Grill house @ Rosebank. We arrived around 7:15 pm, managed to receive a table around 8:30 pm. No reservation was done thus the waiting period was fine however we notice that whilst seated in the bar area, a "white couple" that arrived after us was seated before us. This is unacceptable, we were next on the waiting list and other couple receives the preference. We requested to see the manager and astoundingly a table was available. Later in the evening our meals arrived, my husband order 1kg spare ribs, the first portion was hot and edible however the large portion was ice cold. How is it possible to service ice cold food? By then my husband and I just wanted to leave, the evening was ruined. If that is not frustrating, throughout the course of the evening, the manager did not come around to our table to see if all is fine, he did go to other customers around us and been polite to them however we didn't receive no such treatment. Once the bill was paid then the manager decided to acknowledge us. Apparently Grill house is one of the finest dining places in Gauteng, I BEG TO DIFFER!!!
