I had a disappointing dining experience at the Promise Grill in Bedfordview. I took 6 friends out for a celebration dinner. I ordered my main meal which arrived with chips and not mash as ordered so I sent my meal back to the kitchen. (for the first time) I cut into my steak which was raw and cold so I sent my meal back to the kitchen again.
No one likes to complain about their food and have the food taken away to the kitchen because who knows what goes on in the kitchen when you complain once never mind twice!!!
I then ordered Tiramisu. The cream tasted sour, which I confirmed with 2 of my dinner guests. I called the waiter over and told him.
The waiter took my desert over to the manager, who continued to eat the balance of the desert. Clearly not happy with me sending the dessert back.
The manager approached the table asking who ordered the Tiramisu? He proceeded to tell me there was nothing wrong with the Tiramisu because he had eaten the Tiramisu. To which I replied, I know we watched you eat the Tiramisu!! I was disgusted at the attitude and poor customer service. Promise Grill - I promise never to return.
