We where passing through Malmesbury the day after Christmas when we decided to go to the Spur for something to eat.
We came in and stood at the door politely waiting to be seated, when no one came we proceeded to walk to the window section on our way there we passed runners, a waiter and the manager was standing at the grill looking at us and talking to grill personnel, I figured she was trying to get food order out or something. When we came to the open table at the window the table was still dirty and there was salad dressing on the chair.
My Father-In-Law asked the runner if she could come clean for us, she mumbled yes but did not look like she wanted to help us and was looking rather resentful. after a couple of minutes she was back and she cleaned the table and chair, when she left I said thank you, she did not reply just walked off.
We then sat down and started looking through the menu for drinks and food but after we have sat there for what must have been about 15min with no service we left and went to Wimpy across the road, on our way out the manager was waiting to queue people coming up stairs did not ask or say goodbye. Also complained on Spur website, no word back.
