On Saturday 26 Jan 2013 my fiancee had booked a table for 30 people for her birthday at Kitchen Bar. The staff member who took the booking was quick to announce the terms & conditions that accompany a booking of this size - which we accepted. My fiancee arrived at KB at about 7.45 to start receiving guests only to discover that there was no table set up. Upon enquiry staff said they had somehow overlooked the booking (when it was written in bold on the booking sheet). Duly they set up her table on the edge of the restaurant & everything was ok. Guests began to arrive & order drinks which took FOREVER to arrive. The cocktail I ordered took 1h40mins to arrive after asking our waiter 4 times where it was. Our food orders were no better. It took over 2 hours for food to roll out. Some guests cancelled their orders and ate at Primi Piatti. When the food arrived one of my friends had his burger in his hand & the waiter cleared his plate from beneath him. We tried to speak to the manager but he was outside of restaurant for at least 40 minutes on his phone. I could go on, but I am limited for space. Honestly disgraceful service. Its a shame. I used to love Kitchen Bar.
