Smoke House sells rotten meat! Be WARNED

In December myself and a colleague bought meat from The Sticky Pig Butchery, also known as Smoke House, 48 Newton Street, Gants Centre, Strand

I bought Eisbein and he bought a leg of pork for Christmas.

I made mine the next day, and immediately realised the meat was rotten. I had to throw the food away. My colleague phoned me on the night before Christmas. His meat was ALSO rotten.

There is a foul smell eminating from that butchery. I suspect that this butchery does not conform to local hygiene regulations. Both of us have laid complaints with the hygiene inspectors at Cape Town Metropolitan Council

Meanwhile I would strongly advise that this butchery be avoided at all costs!
