I would like some advice in respect of what I should do when a company (Butchery)
sells me meat that is rotten. I have experienced this a few times over the past year at abovementioned.
On Fri 8 March 2013 I bought some COLD Meat (Beef Pastrami). My wife fell ill on sat morning with food poisining (We assume). I then smelled the meat and realised that it is rotten. It was in the fridge overnight (Fri Night).
I kept the rotten meat (Now frozen in original packaging) in the event of it being able to undergo
diagnostic testing of some kind. Who would know where I can take a sample for testing ..
I have pointed this out to the manager on several occasions but was bluntly ignored. He told me to do what I want to in terms of escalating the matter.
Another favourite habit at this "Butchery" is to hide rotten chicken in a flavour of some kind (Lemon Herb etc) and sell it off as Chicken Flatties!!!
Question still remains: WHAT CAN ONE DO??. Talking with the management just does not get you anywhere.
Except for in hospital after I had burst an artery in my head...
