On 26th December my family and I visited Mike's Kitchen in Rosebank
We were looking forward to a delicious meal from a log standing and trusted brand that I grew up with.
The restaurant might have had 4-6 tables that had patrons. The service was good up to a point when the food was delivered. Follow-up on our meal may have happened once. The manager on duty popped in once just to show face and that was it.
My main complaint is this. I ordered Kiddies chicken strips for my 22 month old daughter. When the strips arrived it was covered in breadcrumbs which made the outer edges of the strips to crispy for her to eat. We were not offered tomoto sauce as an option. Also when I asked for kiddies glasses the waitress brought us normal glasses. So obviously with 3 small kids at the table I asked the waitress to bring take-away cups for their sodas. If looks could kill. Also the meal i ordered was unappetising Mozambique calamari. It was the blandest fish meal I have ever eaten. I complained to the manager to no avail and left more than half the meal on the plate. I added tabasco, tomato saucem, S&P to change it but nothing worked. NOT GREAT SERVICE! HEART BROKEN NEVER VISITING AGAIN EVER
