My family and I are spending 3 to 4 times a week at Ocean basket with friends and family. We love the surrounding and sea food in general and have been waiting a. Long time for the opening of this branch in Upington. But to our dismay they just do not meet up to the likes of Worcester Tygervalley, Roberston, Pretoria just to name a few. We travel a lot and still Ocean Basket is our preferred choice of meal. But if it is going to go at this rate you might cloese down your doors. Service is most of the time also non existing but the biggest concern here is the food you come to enjoy for what Ocean Basket is famous for and that is exactly the opposite you get here.the fish is overcooked the calamary is burnt there is absolutely no sause to speak of what soever and they can't get a simple order right of half rice half chips. If this continues I can gaurruntee you that this will be the last of Ocean Basket in Upington the owners need to be also more visible and take part in their endouvour here to make this a success as it can.
