Last night i went to Mikes Springsgate. I'm a regular there and generally have never really had problems. Last night i ordered Calamari and asked the waitress for no squid heads. The waitress had to repeat my order three times before getting it right. When the waitress brought my order the squid heads hadn't been removed from my meal and when she noticed she said she would bring me a plate so that i could take them out myself. So she basically expected me to pay for a meal and then pick at it eventhough i had asked for no squid heads. I told her that i wouldn't take out the squid heads myself and she took the food back to the kitchen to 'fish' out all of the squid heads.By the time she got back the food was cold. My husband then ordered a coke just before his meal arrived. he had almost finished his meal when following up on where his coke was. The waitress said that she forgot and only brought the coke once my husband had finished eating. we also didn't have a manager visit our table until we were getting up to leave. Pathetic service!
