I only want to share my experience as I can see that Melrose arch branch are having some issues regarding service and I do believe in sharing this they will possibly look at re-training staff. Myself and 2 guests were seated and offered a drink, I requested a wine list to which the waiters response was I can tell you what's on the list, after insisting on the wine list he decided he would just not take our drinks order. I then collected my own wine list. The steak I wanted to order was apparently not available, even though a few items down you could order the same 200g steak but with ribs for a higher price. I was then forced to order a higher priced bigger steak, not exactly what I wanted. The waiter proceeded to bring the bill without us asking for it, without even offering another round of drinks or desert.it is obvious the waiter was trying to drive the bill up possibly to increase his tip and at the end of the night wanted us to leave so he could too perhaps.i did bring this to the managers attention who was lovely&apologetic, we were given desert as compensation, but at the end of the day I didn't eat what I wanted to&had to pay more for it.its not acceptable.
