I was traveling on the N1 south to Cape Town for my holiday. We stopped at the Engine 1 stop in Kroonvaal. We decided that we should have some breakfast at the wimpy, after we were seated we waited 20 minutes just to get our order taken, while waiting for our drinks, a family that arrived after us got so impatient that the father got up and fetched their order himself. When our drinks came 40 minutes after we were seated, the still water I ordered was not cold at all, there was no apology about the useless service from the manger who was well aware that there was a service issue, I will never return to that branch again, I'd rather drive that extra 3 hours to Bloemfontein next time. Wimpy just seems to keep failing on standards and service quality, I haven't enjoyed a wimpy meal in almost ten years.
I posted this comment a few weeks ago but got a generic reply... does Wimpy not care about the attitudes and opinions of others?
