NO STOCK?! Very poor service

We purchased a Groupon voucher for a schwarma & chips from Barcelos Long Street which expired 3 Jan. 2014. We went to redeem our voucher, only to find out in this busy season time that they do not have stock of pita breads for the schwarmas (how can one not carry sufficient stock in busy peak season times?). We asked when they will be getting pita's in and no one could answer, not even the manager (as the owner was in Pretoria). Do they not control stock and re-order when stock is low? There were two other clients with the same request while I was there, also with Groupon vouchers. Then the manager on duty wanted to offer us meals for a lesser value than the voucher we purchased. I asked to speak to the owner and got him on the telephone, after a very lengthy, heated discussion and many tales from the owner's side; we got another meal & soft drinks in replacement to the vouchers. This is really unacceptable if you're in the food industry, why take part in Groupon Deals if you do not carry sufficient stock for food orders. Make a plan, go to Pick & Pay to buy pita's if you have to! Needless to say, the chicken burger was HORRIBLE and dry - by far the worst take away and service!
