Walnut Grove was one of my favorite restaurants at Sandton City. We generally have a meal there about twice a month. Yesterday evening we arrived there at about 8pm, proceeded to be seated, promptly, placed our order. Our drinks arrived after an acceptable amount of time. Unfortunately our meals did not, after some 40 minutes. Nor did our waiter ever bother to check on us. We asked one of the waiters to check on the status of our order., never got any response, just a stupid smirk. We eventually asked for the bill, from the waiter that served us, the bill comes for the meals and drinks. (what was this thinking, we were going to pay for meals that we were never served). We were then informed that our order was misplaced. We paid for our drinks and left for good.
