SHOCKING SERVICE

My husband and I had a late lunch at the Gateway branch in Umhlanga on 23 December 2012, whist on honeymoon. We had the most inexcuseable service on every account that day. Once we were seated, and our drinks order taken, it took about 20 mins for our drinks to arrive, and we were not served ice, as requested. It took another 25 odd mins for the ice to arrive, by which time my drink was almost finished. We then orderd our meal (after about a 45 min wait). I spesifically asked that no green pepper be in my salad. When our meals arrived just short of an hour later, my meal arrived 15 mins before my husbands meal, and there was green pepper in my salad. I sent the salad back and said i didnt want a replacement.By the time my husbands food arrived, mine was stone cold. We had finally had enough and asked for the bill. Our bill took another 20 mins to get to us, and when it arrived it was the wrong bill. We then had to wait another 10 mins for the correct bill to be brought to us, and then we had been charged for the salad that we sent back. The manager had full knowledge of our constant problems throuout our visit and did not offer much assitance to the situation.
