On 13/12/2013 at 11:30, My collegues and I went to the above mentioned outlet to buy a family treat meal and we ate in. After the meal I wanted to take my prescribed medication, then I went to the Cashier to ask for tap water, he said they are not allowed to give tap water, but I pleaded with him as I desperately needed to take my meds, he then called a Manager (Tshidi) for me, she came but she didnt bother to listen to what I wanted to say, she just carried on, served the customer behind me, after a minute of standing there unattended, I asked her for water, she rudely said "we are not allowed to give customers tap water, you can go to the bathroom basin and drink that water on your own risk". When I asked her why they can't give water, she couldn't answer that. As disappointed as I was, I simply walked out, took my meds with a cola. I saw Lucas (shift supervisor), told him about an incident, he simply laughed it off and said "Why can't these men you are with buy you bottled water? "
Water is life, I mean who denies a paying customer tap water??? Most of the food outlets does give their customers tap water, the same must be done by KFC too.
