Bill was R363, gave waiter R57 tip, total was R420. When handed the credit card machine to enter my pin in, no amount is shown, so accepting and trusting he entered the correct amount, I entered the pin. When I was waiting in line to go into the movies, I received a sms to say R520 was deducted from my bank. On returning immediately to the Spur, I saw the waiter And he hurried off. I asked for the manager who Iin turn, after I explained what had happened, summonsed the waiter. When he got there, I told him he had ripped me off, he Iimmediately said sorry and handed me R100. Then he just hurried off again. I ask the question, how did he know it was 100 he took off And why didnt he offer to return the tip??? Also why didnt he check to see how I felt about it also why didnt the management call him back and suspend him immediately immediately??? I left my name & phone number with the manager, but only recieved a call at 16h00 the following day. That was after I emaIiled, tried to phone, left a message on customer care line, online & per phone. Amazing response, or lack thereof.
