When a manager, shows excellence

Booked through Groupon to go and eat at the Maharaj Restaurant, for 4 people, one of them was my aged mother who is unable to walk easily. On arriving we found that the Restaurant is on the first floor of the building with lots of stairs and no lift. An impossibility for my mom to do.
I went upstairs and chatted to the manager Chetty, he was most apologetic, when I suggested that they set up a table downstairs in the entrance he was more than willing. We then found tables outside next door to the restaurant, and as it was a lovely evening were happy to sit there. Chetty sent waitons down to set the table, left one of his learner waitrons with us to take care of our needs. He even popped down from his busy restaurant to see if we were okay, or needed anything. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff or himself. What a pleasure to have service like this it is so rare to meet someone as friendly, helpful and welcoming as this man, and to top this the food was excellent and the Groupon deal was amazing.. We were delighted.
