We called the restaurant on Saturday afternoon to make a reservation for Sunday Afternoon/Evening. I told the lady on the phone that we would like to come early and enjoy some wine before dinner. She said we should come early so as to get a good table, so we booked for 1700.
We arrived at the restaurant at 1715, and were shown to a table in the corner with a view. We ordered a few bottles of wine and a sushi platter to nibble on before dinner. Exactly 1 hour later the manager came up to me and said that we should order food now because she had booked the table for 2000, (which changed to 1930 and then 1915 during the conversation). We asked if we could be moved to another table and she said no she had already given all the other tables away.
We could not be bothered to argue with her anymore so we left and ate downstairs at Fusion (very good). She was rude, unfriendly and extremely unprofessional. We will not be returning. Its a real pity, the food and setting is amazing but alas the woman managing the restaurant on Sunday night ruined our evening.
