My son and a group of friends ate at CTFM on Saturday night. They asked if they could have grilled calamari instead of fried (the only option on the menu - not sure why, EVERYONE else offers both). They were told this was possible. When the bill came at the end of the meal, they found they had been charged R18 more than the menu tariff. (R102 instead of R84).
This is iniquitous! I would very much like an explanation for this as it smacks to me of taking advantage of inexperienced youngsters; they should have been informed of any price variance when they ordered. Also, why the price difference - in my experience other restaurants offer grilled and fried options for calamari at the same price!
