Very bad experience with food Mngmnt at Ocean Basket Tyger Valley branch l'night. We ordered standard meals (Grilled Fish&Chips Grilled Calamari&Rice) we received our meals shortly after placing the order. It looked delicious, so we tucked in, just to discover the food was cold. Mom send her fish back to be reheated, got it back luke warm. Afterwards we mentioned to the Mngr that we were disappointed that the food was cold & suggested that they might want to serve food in warm pans (like in the past). We then asked whether the food was prepared earlier, to which he admitted. The fact that grilled fish & calamari gets prepared upfront (to avoid rush hr panic) and then get reheated to serve (noting only 7 other tables at the time, no rush) is inexcusable. The menu explicitly says grilled fish can take up to 30min to prepare, which we are happy to wait for as the quality is usually of the best, but last night we received our food in less than 7min after ordering, so def not freshly made. Furthermore, the Mngr had the audacity to tell me that I should in future (@ any Ocean Basket) tell the waiter I like my food really warm!?! Really!?! Unacceptable, I'm sorry, I was totally disgusted by this
