On Saturday my husband and I decided to try Melissa's for the 1st time. It was such an horrible experience. Firstly, we placed our order for drinks (coffee and an Berry Ice tea), the coffee arrived and we waited about another 5min before I approached one of the waiters to ask for the ice tea, and sadly there were no berry flavour. About 5min later another waiter arrived with a berry smoothie which I sent back. The waiter was so confused he came back and said " you ordered and mixed berry? ".. When the food finally arrived after waiting about half an hour, my sandwich was only toasted on one side and was dunked in the salad dressing (which really had a horrible sour taste). We finished our lunch and asked for the bill (what confused me is all the different waiters that served us). I paid with my debit card which declined 3 times because the machine was faulty and in all honesty it was embarrassing!!
It is such a nice place to have a light lunch at but the service was a HUGE let down and I don't think we will be heading back for any sit down meals again. The waiters are really confused when placing orders and this creates havoc and poor delivery.
