Good Day, this is my very first time on HelloPeter!
My girlfriend and I decided to go for a quick waffle in the morning before my exam at the Milky Lane in the Fourways Mall.
The doors and everything were open and it seemed that we were their first 2 customers, although after walking in and looking at a menu, all the staff just didn't seem to acknowledge us, so I asked, "Are you guys open here or what? " and they all just looked blankly at each other and eventually the lady working the till unenthusiastically said, "Yes we are".
Anyway, needless to say, the food was great but the staffs attitudes were just down right uncalled for, I was smiling and trying not to give them a hard time because it was early but I still had no luck in improving their attitudes. Two old ladies that came in after us actually got up and left.
I think management is to blame and most probably training/customer service.
