I am a vegetarian and wanted to purchase spinach and feta pies for myself and my daughter. I voiced concern to Abigail regarding the use of one utensil for both meat and vegetarian pies. She listened carefully and patiently and asked if I would feel better if she washed the tongs first before placing my pies in the bag. I agreed and she washed the tongs and gave me my order - all done with patience, a smile and respect for my different point of view!! I would like to recommend that King Pie consider furnishing their outlets with separate tongs for vegetarian and non-vegetarian pies and asking Abigail to train staff in how to respect customers' different lifestyle choices! Oh and while we're about it, how about adding a few more vegetarian pies since more and more people are opting for a vegetarian choice? I have several suggestions... sweetcorn and cheddar, vegetable curry... ooh... the list goes on. Nonetheless, well done for a really great customer attitude, Abigail!
