We went to the Dross Hartbeespoort on Monday night the 4th of November. This was absolutly the worst meal I have ever had at any restaurnt. So my word of advise to visiters that come here on a weekend stay as far away as you can.
The creamy white sauce for the snails was grey and lumpy. The baked potato was ice cold and full of dry hard pieces. We brought this to the owner/managers attention we were told to ask then to reheat this, so how is that any kitchen standard?? So I have to go to your restaurant and pay a fortune and ask you to warm the food that comes from your kitchen. The lemon butter sauce that was sent to the table tasted like sunlight liquid water or as if they took the finger bowl water and added that to the bowl. The food standard is below par and when we refused to pay the one item on the menu we were told to pay and see what happens, so the owner threatens you with the police. We did not even have a bite of that item and just sent it back to the kitchen.
So the attitude is if you don't like it you will pay or else, and you can call the health department and the head office..
So to avoid getting sick and paying for it I suggets you stay clear...
