We were a party of about 35 for a memorial service and the family paid for our food. I ordered an item on the menu "3 medallions of kudu sirlion served with roasted rooibos butternut, seasonal organic vegetables and raw garlic and macadamia sauce R169" What I actually received was a piece of beef steak with what tasted like some "out of the bottle" sauce, certainly not the garlic/macadamia sauce. I do realize that the staff were way over their head with such a large party and they really tried their best, but being so hungry, I ate the meal. There were at least 2 other patrons that returned various dishes. I'm really not one to complain, but if you're going to run a business, particularly a restaurant, you staff better be ready for anything like this. They did try hard but were clearly out of their depth. It took forever to get bottles of wine for the tables as well as water. Rather than open 25 Moyo restaurants offering mediocre service/kitchen at best, open just a few and work on those few to make them the best with 100% costumer satisfaction. There was no supervision to make things run smoothly... or at least I didn't see anybody coordinating things.
