Sunday 8/9/13 at 4pm I waited in the queue at Panarottis Cape Gate to place an order for take away pizza. The young man at the 'express' takeaway counter was clueless. He dithered and ran back and forth for 10 minutes with the customer before me, did not acknowledge the presence of the waiting people in the queue and had no idea what he was doing. The customers behind me eventually left and went elsewhere but I continued to wait. He then took my order and credit card and walked off to the kitchen with my card. I called out to him to bring my card back, but no luck. He came back a while later and seemed to not know that you cannot take a customers credit card to the kitchen. No explanation either. My husband went to call a manager but was told that there are no managers, only 'team members'. The attitude was, shrug, who cares anyway. I had just spent R300 on 2 pizzas and was left feeling that I had been royally ripped off and will definitely not go back to Panarottis. Hope my card wasn't cloned, time will tell.
