We visited the local Panarottis the day before yesterday. They have a make your own pizza option for the kids. The bacon that they brought to put on the pizza was not only starting to discolour but also smelled. Thinking that it was their first offence I very politely sent it back and asked that they replace it with another meat which they did. When we received our pizzas I checked my pizza and everything looked fine. When I was done about halfway through my pizza I looked over at my husband's pizza. He always uses so much peri-peri that he did not even notice that the same rotten bacon was used on his pizza. I placed a piece of the bacon on his pizza next to bacon that I found on my pizza and you could see and smell a clear difference. The same bacon that I sent back from my child's pizza was used on his pizza. Even the waitress & manager could smell the difference. We did not have to pay for the pizza but what upsets me the most is that I did not see that any of the other tables pizzas were called back. My other child's chicken in her pasta did not look great but I did not want to overdo it with the complaints. She was nauseous yesterday and this morning her tummy started running?
