What has happened to Cappuccino Menlyn's service?

My husband, I and our two children aged 3 and 5 went to Cappuccino's Menlyn earlier tonight. We often eat at this restaurant because it is relatively child friendly. When we arrived the kids received pizza dough to play with. My daughter asked for crayons and a picture as she associates this with Cappuccino's. We were told by the waiter that head office ordered that they should no longer give kids crayons/pictures. Big disappointment. My husband accompanied our one daughter out of the restaurant. After the kids received their food, a "manager", Chris asked me if we would mind moving to another table to the middle of the outside seating area as he needed our table to attach to a larger table adjacent to seat a large group. I said yes, we do mind as we are in the middle of our meal, with four large packages next to the table. When my husband returned, our food arrived and I told him what transpired. He was just as flabbergasted, stood up and said, if we are that unwelcome we should leave. My husband wanted to pay for the wine and kids meals and they had the audacity to start ringing up the bill!! This franchise has turned into a sausage machine with no regard for basic restaurant etiquette.
