Tashas
Recycled serviette with chewing gum

Last Saturday I went to Tasha's for sun-downers and an early dinner. I often go for drinks and a lunch on a Saturday so I'm familiar with the great food and service.

Just as I had finished my meal I wiped my mouth with a serviette only to find there was someone's used chewing gum stuck to it. It was disgusting and made me feel sick to my stomach. My entire experience was ruined.

I called for the manager who came over and pretty much said "Sorry, we don't recycle serviettes and we go through boxes a day bla bla bla... Don't worry your meal is on us." His entire attitude was all about denying any wrongdoing on his staffs behalf when clearly they had served a meal with a dirty serviette. With that he walked off. A few minutes later we received the drinks bill for two cocktails.

First of all, I was disappointed in the way he casually brushed off the situation. Recycling serviettes is just not acceptable especially for a restaurant that prides itself in quality of food and service. Secondly if he sincerely was sorry he would've come back to check up on us and not send us a drinks bill for two cocktails even before we had requested our bill.
