On Sunday the 17th we drove all the way from the East Rand to the North to experience the wonder of Design Quarter but we made the HORRIBLE mistake of going to Kitchen Bar for lunch... The actual shopping center is a wonderful feel but this restaurant was DISGUSTING... The waiter took the full order for cocktails, starters and mains... Then came back 20min later to reconfirm our cocktails... So he didnt even get the order correct! 10min after that our MAINS came out. We sent it back as we had no drinks or starter... The waiter then came with the sushi starter with no crockery or soya sauce, still no drinks, after that only did the drinks arrive, after begging for the crockery and soya sauce we finally get it we decided to have our drinks and starters and leave. We waited 20min for the bill until we eventually went to the till point ourselves. Down stairs in the busy restaurant the manager / chef came out threw the main courses down and says he dosent care someone is paying for this, after screaming and arguing with us in a busy restaurant he just ran back into the kitchen, didnt even ask if it was the waiters error or why we sent it back... NEVER EVER AGAIN!
