We went to celebrate on 30 July 2013 at 18h30. On arrival the waiter was requested to please activate the fire place. After a second request he advised us that it could only be activated by the Manager who was smoking outside. Five minutes later the fire was started. Four portions of the special of the month as advertised at R129.95 was ordered. The food took very long to be prepared. A second round of drinks was ordered from the waiter M-Jay. We had to re-order from another waiter as M-Jay seemed to have disappeared. When the main course eventually arrived, the steak was uncheweabally tough. The Manageress, Adri, offered an exuse that this was the situation due to the popularity fact of the dish, the meat did not mature. On receipt of the bill, I noticed that we were charged R139.95 for the special of the month. The waiter, once again, had to locate, Adri, from outside, where she was smoking. According to her, there was alternative options under which a 300g steak could be ordered and would cost R139.95. The waiter, M-Jay, did not offer us any option about the special. She altered the bill to R129.95 per special. We left frustrated, disappointed and hungry.
