Advertising product that is out of stock!

Adega Nelspruit has been using all their marketing tools to announce their winter specials, including fresh Namibian oysters at a great price. I have recieved an sms, facebook notification and email regarding their special. On Tuesday the 9 July I took a friend of mine who was celebrating his birthday to our favorite restuarant to enjoy an oyster filled birthday treat. Being his birthday he had also recieved a notification on facebook to claim R100.00 towards a meal for his birthday at Adega. We arrived and outside the restuarant the advertising board still screamed about their winter special including oysters. We were seated and started ordering only to be informed then that they were out of stock. Sorry no Oysters. We had driven all the way into Nelspruit from Ngodwana for the oysters that had been marketed over and over again to be told they were out of stock. Why not use the same marketing tools to inform clientelle that they are out of stock?? We lost my friends R100.00 towards a meal because the meal of choice was not available and drove 100km in and out to get there. Such poor planning to run out of stock during a special and then on top of it not to inform us of this
