We went to Ocean Basket for a family lunch one Sunday in June.
My father paid with his credit card, he handed his card to the waiter and stood by his side while the payment was being processed.
Two days later my dad got a notification from the bank to say that a plane ticket was purchased on his card!!!
If possible, pay with cash or make sure that no other waiter is standing close to the card machine while your payment goes through.
Imagine what these waiters get up to if you leave them alone with your bank card!!!
We love the Waterfront branch and drive through from Paarl, so this is not the service we expect.
I suggest the manager has a close look at his staff and ensure that this does not happen again!
Very disappointed!!!
