For the second time in less that a month we've experienced NO sevice at the Ocean Basket the Glen, Johannesburg. The previous time it was in January and as they were very busy I really had to convince the waiter that he needs to attend to us as well. I gave them the benefit of the doubt as I always receive excellent service from the Alberton, Meyersdal restaurant. But to my utter dismay this past Sunday wanted to go to the Ocean Basket The Glen again after the movie, what a joke. The table was dirty, no greetings or we will quickly fix the table. We waited patiently, after a while I called a person to ask that since all the waiters are so busy with their own conversations is it possible for the manager to serve us. Well after a breadbasket was plonked on the dirty table nothing happened and we eventaully got up and left. Still no manager in sight. We went to the Ocean Basket Meyersdal what a total opposite, managers on the floor, clean restaurant, great waiters, friendly. Thank you Pretty. I really hope that the franchise management will look at this bad spot on their otherwise good reputation.
