I generally receive very good service at Wimpy (Western Cape), but unfortunately I had a not so good experience this time. I relocated to Gauteng and decided to have breakfast at the Wimpy in Carlswald, Gauteng. To my very disappointment, I received such bad service. I must admit that the place was busy, but that does not mean the standard of service should be compensated. The waiter, Lucky was abrupt at a stage, so we just settled for two carrot muffins and coffee. The muffins took approximately 15 min. to arrive. The assistant manageress, Lenah brought us the muffins, but one was banana instead of carrots. I took it back to be replaced, but this time they brought back without any butter or jam. Not an apology or nothing from either the waiter or assistant manager. This should not be tolerated. An assistant manager is appointed to see that all runs smooth when the manager is not on duty. This clearly did not happen. This happened on the 27 June at approximately 9:45am.
